The ATI® Carbo Ex Filter 1.5L is a ready-to-use, single-use filter cartridge containing 1,000 grams (approx. 1.25 liters) of ATI Carbo Ex Media and a fine dust filter.
ATI® Carbo Ex removes CO₂ and other unwanted substances such as cigarette smoke or pollen from the intake air of the protein skimmer. The absorption of CO₂ leads to a higher pH level, similar to that found in nature. The stabilized pH level enhances the growth and vitality of corals while simultaneously reducing unwanted algae growth and cyanobacteria. The integrated fine dust filter cleans the air of dust particles.

Application:
- Connect the skimmer's air hose to the white central tube (adapter included).

Einfache Handhabung - schneller Effekt
Es werden Schlauchadapter (kleine Schlauchstücke) zum Anschluss mitgeliefert so dass die Installation mit wenigen Handgriffen erledigt war. Bei mir war bereits nach 2 Tagen der PH im Schnitt um 0,2 höher wie ohne den CO2 Filter. Bin gespannt wie lange ein Filter hält. Was leider fehlt ist eine Nachfüllmöglichkeit wenn das Material erschöpft ist. So wird leider unnötig viel Müll produziert. Daher ein Punkt Abzug.
