The ATI® Carbo Ex Refillable Filter 4 L is a ready-to-use, refillable filter cartridge containing 2,600 grams (approx. 4 litres) of Carbo Ex special granulate and a fine dust filter.
ATI® Carbo Ex removes CO₂ and other unwanted substances, such as cigarette smoke and pollen, from the air supplied to the protein skimmer. Removing CO₂ raises the pH to a more natural level. The stabilised pH enhances coral growth and vitality while reducing unwanted algae growth and cyanobacteria. The integrated fine dust filter removes dust particles from the incoming air.

Instructions for use:
- Connect the protein skimmer’s air intake hose to the white central tube.
- Replace the granulate once its colour changes from white to violet.
- Refill with ATI® Carbo Ex Granulate 3,250 g / 4,000 ml (item number 2540001).
