ATI® ICP Element Chromium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element chromium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the chromium content by 1µg/l
- Increase chromium by a maximum of 0.5µg/l (0.5ml/100l or 0.5ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 15,000µg of chromium
Symptoms of low chromium levels:
- Possibly lower activity of certain enzymes in invertebrates
- Theoretically reduced micronutrient availability for bacteria in biofilms
- So far, no clearly documented symptoms of low chromium levels are known
Possible causes of low chromium content:
- Low content in the salt mix
- No targeted compensation via trace element solutions
- Permanent removal by skimming in case of microbial binding
ATI® ICP Element Cobalt
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element cobalt in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the cobalt content by 4µg/l
- Increase cobalt by a maximum of 0.4µg/l (0.1ml/100l or 0.1ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 60,000µg of cobalt
Symptoms of low cobalt levels:
- Thinner tissue, slower coral growth
- Paler coloration due to less efficient photosynthesis
- Reduced fish vitality: Cobalt plays a role in the formation of red blood cells via Co-containing vitamin B12
Possible causes of low cobalt content:
- Too little content in salt mix and insufficient trace element supply
ATI® ICP Element Iron
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element iron in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the iron content by 4µg/l
- Increase iron by a maximum of 4µg/l (1ml/100l or 1ml/26 gal) per day

Symptoms of low iron levels:
- Iron deficiency impairs photosynthesis performance, resulting in lower color depth and reduced growth of corals
- Growth stop of macroalgae (e.g. Chaetomorpha) in the refugium
- Iron deficiency weakens enzymes and cellular metabolic processes
Causes of low iron levels:
- High consumption, especially in tanks with strong LED light and high SPS or macroalgae load
- No targeted supply via trace element systems
- Many supply systems do not contain iron
- Iron precipitates quickly in the aquarium even at low consumption
ATI® ICP Element Copper
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element copper in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the copper content by 1µg/l
- Increase copper by a maximum of 0.5µg/l (0.5ml/100l or 0.5ml/26 gal) per day

Symptoms of low copper levels:
- Copper is a cofactor in enzymes, for example, for iron utilization in fish or in calcium metabolism. However, no confirmed symptoms of copper deficiency are known.
Causes of low copper content:
- Due to its toxicity, a low copper content is the normal condition in reef aquariums – ideally, copper should only be detectable in very low concentrations
ATI® ICP Element Lithium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element lithium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the lithium content by 15µg/l
- Increase lithium by a maximum of 15µg/l (1ml/100l or 1ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 225,000µg of lithium
Symptoms of low lithium levels:
- No proven symptoms are known. However, it is assumed that it is still relevant, as lithium is very light and therefore, despite low concentrations, there are a large number of lithium ions in salt water.
- Reduced enzyme activity, for example, is conceivable.
Causes of low lithium content:
- Use of low-lithium salt mix
- Use of zeolite or activated carbon
ATI® ICP Element Manganese
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element manganese in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the manganese content by 4µg/l
- Increase manganese by a maximum of 4µg/l (1ml/100l or 1ml/26 gal) per day

Symptoms of low manganese levels:
- Pale colors in SPS, reduced photosynthesis of zooxanthellae
Causes of low manganese content:
- Use of adsorbers (e.g. activated carbon, zeolite) that also bind manganese
- Heavy skimming or use of ozone
ATI® ICP Element Molybdenum
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element molybdenum in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the molybdenum content by 6µg/l
- Increase molybdenum by a maximum of 12µg/l (2ml/100l or 2ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 90,000µg of molybdenum
Symptoms of low molybdenum levels:
- Negative impact on the nitrogen cycle (including nitrate reduction) as molybdenum is an important cofactor for enzymes
Causes of low molybdenum content:
- Consumption by bacterial processes (e.g. denitrification)
- Low amounts in salt mix used
- Adsorption by zeolite or GFO
- No targeted redosing
ATI® ICP Element Nickel
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element nickel in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.

- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the nickel content by 3µg/l
- Increase nickel by a maximum of 3µg/l (1ml/100l or 1ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 45,000µg of nickel
Symptoms of low nickel levels:
- Nickel is not essential in reef aquariums—no symptoms are known. However, reduced enzyme activity in nitrifying or nitrogen-fixing bacteria (e.g., urease activity) is suspected
Causes of low nickel content:
- Normal state – nickel should ideally only be detectable at very low concentrations
ATI® ICP Element Rubidium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element rubidium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the rubidium content by 5µg/l
- Increase rubidium by a maximum of 25µg/l (5ml/100l or 5ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 75,000µg of rubidium
Symptoms of low rubidium levels:
- Degeneration of mushrooms (e.g. bounce mushrooms) possible
Causes of low rubidium content:
- Low amounts in salt mix or trace element mixtures used. Rubidium is very expensive and therefore often not used.
ATI® ICP Element Selenium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element selenium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the selenium content by 0.5µg/l
- Increase selenium by a maximum of 0.5µg/l (1ml/100l or 1ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 7,500µg of selenium
Symptoms of low selenium levels:
- Selenium proteins protect corals from oxidative stress at high light levels. If selenium levels are too low, oxidative protection is lost (reduced light tolerance)
Causes of low selenium levels:
- Low amounts in the salt mix or trace element mixtures used. Selenium is often not used due to its low concentration
ATI® ICP Element Vanadium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element vanadium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the vanadium content by 5µg/l
- Increase vanadium by a maximum of 1.5µg/l (0.3ml/100l or 0.3ml/26 gal) per day

Symptoms of low vanadium content:
- Pale coral colors
- Reduced growth of sponges
Causes of low vanadium content:
- Insufficient trace element supply
- Too low content in salt mix
- Excessive skimming and use of adsorbers and activated carbon
- Strong growth of stony corals
ATI® ICP Element Zinc

Symptoms of low bromine levels:
- Weaker tissue structure of soft and leather corals as well as gorgonians due to incorporation into the tissue

- Excessive use of activated carbon or zeolite
ATI® ICP Element Calcium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element calcium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.

- Increase calcium by a maximum of 40mg/l (20ml/100l or 20ml/26 gal) per day

Symptoms of low calcium levels:
- Reduced growth of stony corals and coralline algae
- Soft or deformed skeletons in LPS and SPS
- Poor polyp expansion, pale colors
Causes of low calcium levels:
- High consumption due to fast-growing SPS and LPS
- Insufficient dosage or dosing errors in the two part
- Defective dosing pump or clogged dosing hose
ATI® ICP Element Fluorine
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element fluorine in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 10ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the fluorine content by 0.2mg/l
- Increase fluorine by a maximum of 0.3mg/l (15ml/100l or 15ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 2,000mg of fluorine
Symptoms of low fluoride levels:
- Pale colors and reduced gloss of LPS and SPS
- Fluorine is needed for coloration for most corals (e.g. Goniopora, Acropora)
- Fluorine is incorporated into the coral skeleton as calcium fluoride complex – in case of deficiency, coral skeletons become brittle
Causes of low fluorine content:
- Strong growth of stony corals
- Insufficient trace element supply
- Too low content in salt mix
- Excessive skimming and use of adsorbers and activated carbon
ATI® ICP Element Iodine
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element iodine in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the iodine content by 10µg/l
- Increase iodine by a maximum of 20µg/l (2ml/100l or 2ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 1,000,000µg of iodine
Symptoms of low iodine levels:
- Weaker tissue of Xenia and Zoanthus
- Increased susceptibility of corals to bacterial infections and parasites
- Iodine is involved in the formation of color (especially blue, violet) – deficiency leads to a washed-out appearance
- Poor molting of shrimps and crabs: Iodine is needed for the synthesis of the molting hormone ecdysteroid, a deficiency leads to molting problems or death
- Metabolic problems in fish, as iodine is needed in the thyroid
Causes of low iodine levels:
- Biological consumption by corals, macroalgae and microfauna: Brightly illuminated tanks with many inhabitants consume iodine quickly
- No targeted compensation through the two part system
- Removal by skimming, activated carbon, ozone and UV: Iodine is easily removed as a volatile trace element – regular balancing necessary
ATI® ICP Element Potassium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element potassium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the potassium content by 1mg/l
- Increase potassium by a maximum of 40mg/l (40ml/100l or 40ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 100,000mg of potassium
Symptoms of low potassium levels:
- Pale colors, especially in Acropora (e.g. pink, purple, blue) and Montipora
- Molting problems and slowed movements in crustaceans, reduced mucus production in snails
Causes of low potassium levels:
- Use of zeolite
- Too little potassium in the salt mix used
- Two part system without ion balance
- Used potassium is not replaced. Unlike Calcium and Alkalinity, potassium is often neglected
ATI® ICP Element Alkalinity
Highly pure solution to increase the alkalinity in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating deficiencies and for daily supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the alkalinity by 0,1°dKH
- Increase alkalinity by a maximum of 4°dKH (40ml/100l or 40ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 10,000°dKH
Symptoms of low Alkalinity:
- Death of SPS and LPS
- Slowed skeletal formation, dull colors, tissue damage, susceptibility to RTN and STN
- pH fluctuations due to a lack of ALK buffer. This leads to stress and susceptibility to disease in fish and invertebrates
Causes of low Alkalinity:
- High consumption by stony corals and coralline algae
- Too low dosage of alkalinity
- Defective dosing pump (e.g. clogged dosing hoses, incorrect calibration)
- Use of salt mix with low akalinity
Note
- Crystals can form in the bottle at low temperatures
- The crystals disappear when heated to 45°C /115°F (e.g. in a warm water bath)
ATI® ICP Element Magnesium

Symptoms of low magnesium levels:
- Alkalinity and calcium can precipitate at low magnesium levels
- Slower growth of stony corals, skeleton becomes brittle
- Degeneration of soft corals
- Absence of coralline algae growth
Causes of low magnesium levels:
- High consumption by calcifying organisms (especially coralline algae, SPS, snail shells)
- Precipitation due to chemical imbalances (Alkalinity too high with low Magnesium)
- Too low concentration in the salt mix used
- No targeted compensation through dosage

Symptoms of low boron levels:
- Negative impact on coral growth (skeleton formation)
- Bleaching or weaker coloration of LPS and SPS

Causes of low boron content:

ATI® ICP Element Sulfur
Highly pure powder to increase the individual element sulphur in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1g per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the sulphur content by 2.25mg/l
- A level measuring spoon holds approx. 22.5 grams and thus increases the sulfur content by approx. 50mg/100l (50mg/26gal)
- Increase sulphur by a maximum of 100mg/l (44,5g/100l or 44,5g/26 gal) per day
- The can contains 112,500mg of sulphur
Symptoms of low sulfur content:
- Limited formation of sulfur-containing amino acids leads to slowed growth and weakness in supporting structures (especially soft corals and gorgonians).
Causes of low sulfur content:
- Very common: Two part system without sulfur ion balance
- Too little sulfur in the salt mix used
