ATI® ICP Element Magnesium
Highly pure solution to increase the individual element magnesium in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosage instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the magnesium content by 1mg/l
- Increase magnesium by a maximum of 100mg/l (100ml/100l or 100ml/26 gal) per day
- The bottle contains 100,000mg of magnesium
Symptoms of low magnesium levels:
- Alkalinity and calcium can precipitate at low magnesium levels
- Slower growth of stony corals, skeleton becomes brittle
- Degeneration of soft corals
- Absence of coralline algae growth
Causes of low magnesium levels:
- High consumption by calcifying organisms (especially coralline algae, SPS, snail shells)
- Precipitation due to chemical imbalances (Alkalinity too high with low Magnesium)
- Too low concentration in the salt mix used
- No targeted compensation through dosage
