The passively cooled ATI Straton X, only 9mm thin, sets new standards in LED lighting for saltwater aquariums, uncompromisingly combining the most efficient technologies and finest materials in a single light – completely fanless, completely silent.

	Ultra-slim / Ultra-flat: With a height of only 9 mm, the Straton X is probably the flattest high-performance LED aquarium light on the market. Even slimmer and lighter than its predecessors, it blends in seamlessly. It blends discreetly into any aquarium design.
	Full Aluminum Design: The Straton X impresses with its precisely manufactured aluminum housing. This not only ensures an elegant appearance but also high stability and durability. At the same time, the aluminum allows for efficient heat dissipation – a crucial advantage for the lifespan and performance of modern LEDs. The Straton X is a true premium product made from high-quality materials, setting new standards in workmanship and design.
	Noise-free: Conventional LED lights require fans for cooling – these generate noise, increase the overall height, and are subject to wear and tear. The Straton X completely eliminates this: Modern high-power LEDs and an efficient aluminum heat sink make fans and their maintenance unnecessary – for absolutely silent operation.
	Anti-glare / glare-free: Many LED aquarium lights cause glare due to uncontrolled light scattering – the Straton X takes a different approach. Each of the 100 LEDs uses specially developed high-performance reflectors, which are flush-mounted in the light fixture. They direct the light precisely into the aquarium, ensuring it goes only where it's needed – for maximum efficiency and a pleasant, glare-free aquarium experience.

Next-level performance that is measurable and convincing

Instead of promises, we rely on facts: We have introduced meaningful and practical key performance indicators that clearly demonstrate the performance of the Straton X – ideal for planning the optimal light level for aquariums and coral farms, or for comparisons with other LED systems on the market. Thanks to integrated PAR and current measurement, the performance values are always transparent and traceable via the app.

Key figures at a glance:

• Absolute Performance - With 1,800 PAR at a distance of 20cm (8 in), the Straton X delivers light output comparable to direct tropical sunlight. This is made possible by the use of the latest G3 technology, which achieves significantly higher output compared to the previous generation .
• Average area performance: At a practical distance of 60cm (24 in) the Straton X achieves in an area of 60 × 60 cm (24x24 in) an impressive average PAR of 390 – and that with just 150 W power consumption.
• Relative performance: The area output results in an excellent relative performance of 2.6 PAR/Watt . This makes the Straton X one of the most efficient LED reef lights in its class.

Illumination area and PAR distribution:

The Straton X was designed for exceptionally broad and even coral illumination and PAR distribution. To illustrate this performance transparently and practically, we have defined two key performance indicators – each measured at a distance of 60cm (24 in) to the light, so that the middle area of the aquarium (approx. 30 – 40 cm below the water surface) is also covered:

• SPS 200 area : A PAR value of at least 200 µmol /m² / s is considered necessary for keeping demanding SPS corals – the Straton X achieves this value up to a diameter of 85 cm (33 in) , which corresponds to an area of 0.567 m² (6 sq ft).
• LPS 100 Area : For LPS corals or mixed tanks, a PAR value of 100  µmol /m² / s or higher is sufficient. The Straton X delivers this value on an area of 100 cm (39 in) diameter , corresponding to 0.785 m² (8.5 sq ft).

These figures impressively demonstrate how efficient the Straton X is. With only 150W maximum power output it enables large-area lighting for various aquarium types.

• PAR-to-price ratio: Simply comparing wattage in relation to the purchase price is not very informative. What matters is how much usable light is produced per euro invested. Our tests show: The Straton X offers an outstanding PAR-to-price ratio and is among the very best.

Performance Summary: More light. Less consumption. Maximum control. 

The Straton X produces up to twice as much usable light as many other LED systems with the same power consumption. This means: less energy consumption, lower operating costs, and impressive light output. This saves energy, protects the environment and your wallet, and allows your corals to visibly grow.

	Hybrid Reef Spectrum:  Reef full spectrum with high blue content: Conventional LED lights typically rely on daylight or blue light. The Straton X combines both: As a true reef full-spectrum light , it flexibly produces any desired light spectrum – from bright daylight to intense blue light. For maximum efficiency, we rely on the world's most powerful high-power LEDs currently available – selected across manufacturer boundaries to get the best out of each color channel. Compared to previous models, the blue light has been further intensified to emphasize fluorescent coral colors. At the same time, improved white and cyan white tones provide greater overall brightness and more intense, vibrant coral colors.
	Soft Shadow Technology: Uniform light for healthy corals: Classic LED lights with small, focused light sources often create hotspots – areas with too much light in the center, while areas at the edges are too dimly lit. The Straton X deliberately uses a large surface area with 100 individual light sources, ensuring even illumination across the entire aquarium. This allows corals to receive light from multiple sides, reducing self-shading and promoting healthy, uniform growth.
	Natural Shimmer : The Straton X creates a natural play of light, just like in a coral reef. This is the popular shimmering effect, a vibrant interplay of light and shadow in the water, which creates an impressively natural reef atmosphere in the aquarium.
	Overdrive Mode: Another feature of the Straton X is the so-called overdrive mode. This feature allows individual LED channels to be driven beyond 100% intensity – if other channels are simultaneously below their maximum output. This dynamic power distribution within the LED module efficiently utilizes the total available power of the fixture without exceeding thermal or electrical limits.
	Flexible Mounting: Variable suspension system : With the new modular Straton suspension system, you have maximum flexibility: Whether classic cable suspension, mounting rail or mounting arm – every solution adapts perfectly to your aquarium environment. The highlight: The mounting arm with seamless attachment blends discreetly into the design of the light and makes the attachment almost disappear – for a tidy, elegant look above the pool.
